Camouflaged structure that enables nearby Fallschirm units to be reinforced via paradrop. Can be built in enemy territory and garrisoned but units cannot fire out.
The Luftwaffe Relay Point is a Wehrmacht structure. In skirmishes it is exclusive to the Luftwaffe Battlegroup. Specifically, it requires the Luftwaffe Relay Point Battlegroup perk as a prerequisite. Once this perk is unlocked, the Pioneer Squad and Fallschirmpioneer Squad gain the ability to construct this structure.
The Luftwaffe Relay Point can be constructed similarly to a Concrete Bunker - however, it can be constructed anywhere, including enemy territory. It essentially is a Concrete Bunker variant, with the same durability and stats, as well as being able to be garrisoned by infantry units.
Uniquely, the Relay Point is one of few structures that can camouflage. Once construction is finished, the building by default passively camouflages, and is revealed the same way as any other camouflaged unit (typically when takes damage or enemy units get too close).
While it can be garrisoned, unlike the regular bunker units cannot fire out of it. However, as long as the Relay Point is camouflaged, units garrisoned inside will also be hidden.
While the Relay Point is up, nearby Fallschirmjäger Squad or Fallschirmpioneer Squad units can reinforce via para-dropped reinforcements within a wide 50 meter range. This allows the Relay Point to act as a forward reinforcement point for these two specific units, and the generous range grants some leeway in potential areas to construct it. Be wary if opponents see para-dropping reinforcements, this will give away that there is a nearby Relay Point and thus may signal opponents to go hunt for it.
Lufwaffe Relay Point - Replaces Luftwaffe Combat Group
2 Command Points and costs 200 manpower to build
Allows Fallschirm units to reinforce around the Relay point within a 50m range
Relay Points are camouflaged and can be built, even in enemy territory
Can be garrisoned. Units inside cannot fire out, but are hidden from the enemy if the Relay Point is still camouflaged
Luftwaffe Relay Point now uses a variant model of the bunker and has the durability of a standard Wehrmacht bunker.
